Today was a great day. I worked from home today which I love because I always feel like I miss out on so much during the day. By the time I get home most days, I have to rush to eat dinner, then start Evan's bedtime routine.Evan was so good! He sat next to me and amused himself for the first part of the morning while papa searched for jobs online. When he was done sitting by himself, he sat quietly on my lap and listened to the sound of his fingernails scratching the underside of the kitchen table top as I worked. Today's the first time I've been able to do this with him ... usually unless someone's actively entertaining him or walking around with him he's hollerin, or crying.
