Best Moment Yet

Today when I got home, Chris and Evan were playing in the loft. Evan
was sitting up by himself, surrounded by toys. When he saw me he
turned to face me and reached out his hand to touch my cheek and just
laughed! He kept doing it, as if to say, mommy, I missed you! I'm so
glad you're home.

I can sit up all by myself!

The Bee asked me to knit an R2D2 hat (http://carissaknits.blogspot.com/2007/06/r2d2-beanie.html) ... or 4 (one for him, one for E, one for me, and one for his buddy, Tom).  My friend Thanh asked me to knit one for her fiance.  I wonder if anyone else will ask for one?  In any case, I'm proud that I'm knitting again!

Every week's meeting is more fun than the last!  The babies are all starting to learn to sit up, some are rolling over, and everyone wants to TOUCH or EAT or SMILE or LAUGH :).  A bit of crying as well, of course.

As usual, Samara was the belle of the ball.  She was touching Evan's hair, eating Lukas's FOOT, and so on.  Too cute for words!
